ALAN DILWORTH – Playwright

Alan is a co-founder of Belltower Theatre, and an associate artist with Groundwater Theatre, Convergence Theatre and Project:Humanity. Selected directing credits include: If We Were Birds (Tarragon Theatre / Groundwater Theatre / SummerWorks Festival, SummerWorks Jury Prize Winner) The Middle Place (Project: Humanity / SummerWorks Festival, Crow's Theatre Directing Award), The Gladstone Variations (Dora Award Nominations for co-Direction and Production), The Unforgetting (SummerWorks Festival, SummerWorks Jury Prize Winner),  Da (Acting Irish International Theatre Festival, Award for Outstanding Production), ma jolie (SummerWorks Festival), and The Bundle (York University). Alan was the 2005 Urjo Kareda emerging artist in residence at Tarragon Theatre, and he has an MFA in directing from York University.
